WHAT IS INVOLVED IN DRAIN LINING REMEDIAL WORK?
Before installing a drain lining the engineer must first locate the defective areas of the drainage system, to locate these problematic areas a camera must be inserted into the system which records footage of the entire system, once located the engineer can then make sure that the pipework is suitable for drain lining.
A drain lining is an oval-shaped specially designed plastic sheet that is resistant to water and chemicals to ensure a long-lasting seal.
Once prepared a machine is used to insert the oval sheet into the drainage system, the sheet will be fitted from end to end of the section of the drainage system.
The lining will then bond to the surface of the drainpipe creating a watertight seal.
